Verandah's has a mixture of double, double ensuite, single, twin, share rooms and mixed-share dormitory. All our rooms provide the utmost comfort for travellers with luxurious blackout curtains, quality beds, cotton linen and duvets.
Washing Facilities
Our showers and toilets are of a very high standard with quality shower heads and good water pressure to provide an enjoyable wash. To further ensure your comfort, we thoroughly clean all common areas daily.
Relaxing
Our two lounge's are cosy and quiet and look out over the lush greenery of neighbouring Western Park. They boast a book exchange, magazine rack, games and a computer with high-speed and WiFi Internet access.

We also provide a clothing bin for unwanted clothes which we pass onto a local charity. Unused gas bottles are passed onto an Auckland tramping club.

Our newly completed kitchen is fitted out with state of the art electric ovens, gas hobs, and microwaves. There is also complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, spices and a free food area bearing donations of fellow travellers.
House rules
There is a non-smoking rule inside and on the verandahs, but you are welcome to enjoy a cigarette in our garden.
